ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • ACTIVE MEMBER: Any person who has served with the 10th Mountain Division, 10th Division or 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) or any unit which was a component part of these units, or with the 99th Infantry Battalion, or Army National Guard Mountain Warfare School, or 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), Mountain and Winter Warfare Board, and who has been discharged from the service under any conditions other than dishonorable, or is serving on active duty, shall be eligible for active membership and shall become an active member upon payment of dues. Any person who served on active duty with the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and subsequently been reassigned shall also be eligible for membership and shall become an active member upon payment of dues. Personnel in other military units involved in winter and mountain training who wish to join the Association may apply to the Executive Committee for membership approval. Only WWII veterans are entitled to Gold membership cards. Annual dues are $20.00.
     
  • DIRECT DESCENDANT: Any person who is a direct descendant of a WWII veteran as described above, or would be eligible if they were still alive, shall become an active member upon payment of dues. Specifically included are: brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren of the veteran. Annual dues are $20.00.
  • FRIEND of the ASSOCIATION: Any person who does not fit into the above mentioned classes, but whom wishes to support the activities of the Association shall be eligible for restricted membership and shall become a restricted member upon payment of dues. This class of membership does not carry voting or officer priveledges, but does offer participation in Association activities, and inclusion in Association offers and mailings. Annual dues are $25.00.
