President's MessageThe
National Association of the 10th Mountain Division, Inc. is at a
historic crossroads. As the World War II 10th Mt. Div. Veterans reach
the top of their individual mountains, the Veterans of the 10th Mt. Div.
(Light) must assume a greater leadership role in order to maintain the
viability of the Association. During this transition, the 10th Mt. Div.
WWII members Descendants have agreed to step forward to fill the gap.
Central to the success of our efforts is attracting and retaining 10th
Mt. Div. (Light) membership and growing some of them into the necessary
leadership positions. The Association's plan to accomplish all of this
is outlined in the National Association of the 10th Mountain Division's
Strategic Action Plan. It was approved on 1 June, 2008 by the
Associations Board of Directors. It out lines the Strategic Direction we
will take to shape our future.
